About Your Role: *
You are a groundbreaking and passionate developer focused on delivering a cutting-edge sending platform. You can unblock yourself and can drive results from an engineering team. You like to own deliverables end-to-end and have a significant influence on the final product. You are a builder. You like to work with fellow engineers and cross functional teams to share knowledge, imagine, design, develop, test, and launch features that dazzle our senders and marketplace users.
Experience:
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10+ years of industry software engineering experience and 6+ years of industry experience in backend software
- Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g., Ruby, Python, Java, etc
- Experience working with large-scale systems, microservice architecture, data streaming, messaging, analytics databases, transactional databases, and API design
- Experience leading a team of engineers
- Good knowledge of operating systems, runtimes, and multithreading
- Ability to work independently
- Self-driven with a can-do attitude
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
