Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Design robust, scalable and secure features
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design
Qualification
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in related field
Experience
- Proven minimum 6 months to 8 months of work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
- Proven minimum 6 months to 8 months work experience in software development industry
Skills
- Amazing English speaking and writing abilities
- Experience developing highly interactive applications
- A firm grasp of object oriented analysis and design
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery
- Working knowledge of relational databases or NoSQL databases
- Practical hands on experience of using Git and third party APIs’
- Excellent development skills for Web Services, Rest APIs’
- Experience in DevOps would be a plus
