PHP Intern

Your primary focus will be the: Development of all server-side logic. Definition and maintenance of the central database and data-structure. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working mainly on PHP. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules. Integration of data storage solutions. SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic knowledge of PHP and its frameworks. Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds. Creating a database schema that represents and supports processes. Should be familiar with Html/CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of programming languages (Ruby and Python) would be a plus point. 16 years of education in CS/IT or Software engineering. 2/3 months internship (with stipend) would be leading towards permanent employment depending upon the performance. Create, modify, backup and delete email user accounts per request. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures (MAC, LINUX, and WINDOWS). Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. Troubleshoot system and network problems, printer, VoIP, Phone Systems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults. Replace parts as required. Knowledgeable DNS, Router, Access Points, Firewall configuration. Support the roll-out of new applications. Install, configure, and monitor antivirus reports for employees’ machines. Maintain and update Wego asset tags for machines and other equipment. Work continuously on a task until completion. Prioritise and manage many JIRA open cases at one time. Rapidly establish a good working relationship with software developers, sales, HR, etc. Test and evaluate new technology. Familiarity with AWS, Google, and cloud services is a plus.
