Jeeny is a Middle Eastern-based mobile application that hosts multiple services to ease daily consumer
needs such as transportation, integrated wallet top-up transactions, mobility and much more on-
demand with a wallet that spans all services together. Jeeny is a joint venture between MEIG (Middle
East Internet Group) - Rocket Internet and IMENA. We have offices in Lahore Jordan, KSA.
Position: Associate Software Engineer
No of positions: 4
Department: Software Engineering (Backend, Project, IOS, Android, QA, DevOps, Product, BI)
Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Salary Range: 80-100k
Workdays: Sunday – Thursday
Job Nature: 3 months’ probation period leading to a permanent job
Application Process:
The candidates are going to go through this process;
They shall filling out a brief google form asking details about their individual capabilities and
areas of interest.
Candidates will also send a 1-2 minute short video introduction of them along with the
submission of the form, (the instruction of this video will be shared in a separate email by the
HR Department.
On the day of the interview, they will go through a short technical test, leading to a final
interview.
Overview about role:
Jeeny is seeking talented fresh Software Engineers, graduating in 2022, who enjoy working with
advanced ride railing applications, and designing great APIs. To qualify for the interview, you MUST
have either 3.2+ GPA OR highly sophisticated and professionally developed FYP, OR a demonstration of
sophisticated software engineering expertise and application outside of the classroom, OR have data
structures, algorithms, and design patterns on your fingertips.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software
Engineering, Electrical Engineering and related to it
Having experience in freelancing will be an edge
If you are having a prior internship or good experience of freelancing, it is surely a PLUS.
Excellent Knowledge of fundamentals of computers science concepts
Exposure to Agile development process and engineering best practices like continuous
integration and unit testing is highly preferred.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
High energy level with strong motivation to be a part of an agile team.
