Job Description Ascertia is hiring an experienced Database Developer primarily to manage, design and optimize databases for its Java, .Net and cloud-based applications. The candidate should be experienced in local and cloud-based databases and have experience in containerized databases and applications too. Ascertia’s core applications ADSS Server, a world leading trust services platform, WebRA Server a comprehensive enrollment, vetting and registration platform and Signing Hub a highly scalable digital signature workflow platform all require an experienced DBA Developer to help optimize the use of all three platforms use of database technology for today and to design how we consume and uses databases tomorrow. As an active team member, Ascertia is looking for: Being proactive Having methods/tools for problem solving with analytical approach Being a good communicator Having documentation and organizational skills Being able to investigate and plan technical solutions to the database related problems using logs and other tools having Self-motivated driven with a purpose in his career Having a competent judgement to inform problems to his superiors on time Deadline oriented Job Specifications: Minimum 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience with web and distributed applications MS SQL Server and Oracle deployments/Installations, configurations and database schemas Good command over query writing, optimization, stored procedures, functions, cursors and temporary tables, Indexing, partitioning and file grouping A Good understanding of difference between Azure SQL, SQL Server and No SQL Understanding of connection pooling, table locking, transactions isolation and atomicity, deadlocks and resource management in SQL Server using the advanced tools for debugging and profiling Good understanding of ETL, OLTP, OLAP, Data Lakes, Data warehousing SQL Server and Oracle monitoring, Optimizing and maintaining efficiency of data retrieving.
