Full Job Description
This position will be part of a global team that is responsible for the administration of IT assets and resources, it will participate in providing world wide support on a follow the sun rotation scheme, will be directly responsible to provide Technical Support, Assist the network and servers administrators in all projects and backend updates, migrations, upgrades, new implementation as well as monitoring services, it will assist and help manage all assigned responsibilities related to Microsoft and Security products, Cloud Base Technologies, Perimeter Security, Physical Security, Vendors, Services Bills, Quotes and Purchases as well as budget forecasts for the site’s, Offices or locations pertaining his region.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT Technical support and repairs for local and global users.
- Provide off hours support based on the follow the sun ration or as needed.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT problems in conjunction with the global team.
- Provide prompt service desk assistance, support and follow-up using all the tools provided by the company.
- Deploys computer hardware and software, security, and access products to conduct business and provide cybersecurity.
- Assist and enforce in the development and compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Prompt assistance to HR and IT departments on the onboarding/offboarding process of personnel.
- Administrates and maintains Active Directory Services as well as Microsoft O365/M365 Access.
- Administrates Cloud Access and Technologies assigned to him by his manager.
- Comply with all technical training defined on this learning path.
- Administrates and processes all IT approved expenditures, quotes, invoices, and bills pertaining to his operations and requirements.
- Monitor IT services and resources to comply with the highest availability SLA.
- Participate and/or lead in all projects or tasks assigned to him for any new implementations, updates, upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, relocations, expansion, mergers, and acquisition as assigned by his manager.
- Aid and support for Tier 2 and Tier 3 requests and escalations.
- Properly escalate and follow-up with all requests assigned or addressed to him locally for approval or level 2 and 3 support until its fulfillment and/or resolution.
- Assets management and disposition according to policy and procedures.
- Assistance and/or administration of all network and servers’ infrastructure.
- Assistance and/or administration of all security services, such firewalls, video surveillance, access controls.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience of exposure to IT Operations.
- Strong customer service skills, Patient, courteous with a can-do attitude.
- Experience working on a SaaS environment with Azure, Meraki, Fortinet, Extreme Network and AWS.
- Strong experience working with Active Directory and PowerShell Scripting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows Servers and the Hypervisor.
- Knowledge on LAN/WLAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols and troubleshooting tools and practices.
- Strong experience working with computer hardware and troubleshooting Linux, MacOS and Windows operating systems, applications and/or integrations.
- Knowledge on Video Conference Systems, CCTV, Access Controls and Cybersecurity.
- Project Administration Experience.
- Knowledge on Structured Cabling.
- Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
