Full Job Description

Position: IT Assistant
We are looking to hire an IT Assistant for our Lahore office. (Will be replaced with Lahore or Islamabad). The candidate will be assisting the existing IT/Network Operations team to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble computer hardware components based on requirements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, mobile devices, and software for end users
  • Properly and safely diagnose, resolve, and document common hardware and software issues
  • Assists IT Team in managing the daily activities of local network systems and hardware.
  • Responsible for installation, administration and testing of operating systems, cabling, inventory management and other related network components/equipment under the guidance of the Team Lead in accordance with published standards.
  • Assists the IT team in office expansion, wiring, connectors and IOs punching, racks management, CCTV installation or any other stuff according to the requirement.
  • Helps end users’ seats relocation as per the requirement.
  • Responsible for managing the IT inventory/hardware to maintain in store and other designated areas with their tracking.
  • Provide end user support by going to their seats as per the requirement.
  • Facilitates IT team in hardware tagging and tracking, document scanning or any sort of work as per the requirement.

Job Qualification & Specifications

  • Intermediate or equivalent.
  • 6 months-1 year experience in computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of basic networking and security practices.
  • Must have knowledge of the following:
    • Desktop/Laptop hardware
    • Windows Platform

The below certifications/trainings are highly desirable in addition to the above requirements:

  • Computer Hardware course/ CompTIA A+.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Linux and Mac OS
