Full Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring client computer systems.
  • Responding to client IT support requests.
  • Dealing with vendors to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
  • Offering solutions that meet the needs of the users.
  • Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
  • Maintaining good client relations.
  • Tracking and managing work records.
  • Compiling job reports
  • Managing hardware inventory
  • Managing attendance/access control system
  • Maintaining printers and other computer hardware
  • Managing Network Devices (Network Switches & Routers)
  • Managing User’s data backup
  • Doing a comparison of hardware equipment technical specs for purchase.
  • Managing IP Cameras and NVR
  • Supporting the IT department in head office, warehouse, and other regional offices.
  • Deploying complaint ticketing system
  • Scheduling users’ system scanning
  • Scheduling systems preventive maintenance
  • Maintain UPS

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; MBA/MSC in Business is preferred
  • Completed degree(s) from a recognized institution as per minimum education requirement may be filled in for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Must have 8-10 years of experience managing IT related projects or programs
  • Professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Able to provide utmost support to the IT departments and organization.
  • Skills to maintain consistent and correct workflow and uninterrupted procedure of the computer hardware and software, the networks, and servers.
  • Able to install programs, configure networks and databases.
  • Skills to assist the visitors and users.
  • Able to work on multiple areas of IT support, information security, database administration, and server maintenance.
  • Ability to manage workload and deal with users.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

Position requires a) provide utmost support to the IT Departments and organization; b) maintain consistent and correct workflow and uninterrupted procedure of the computer hardware and software, the networks and servers; c) install programs, configure networks and database; d) provide assistaassistnd users; and e) may work on multiple areas of IT support and information security.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From Rs120,000.00 per month
