We need to hire 4 IT Service Desk Engineers based in Johar Town Lahore, Pakistan.
Start: immediate, 2 to 3 weeks’ notice is okay as well
Initial it will be remote for 1 to 2 months and then based in office (Johar Town, Lahore)
Language: English Fluent (Spoken and written)
Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing services around level 1, 2 tickets or requests, maintaining client satisfaction through interaction, and providing coverage and support for client and contract requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Actioning tickets and field services requests from clients
- Answering client phone calls and emails
- Managing project documentation including service delivery manuals & field engineer database
- Satisfying client coverage requirements
- Monitoring client alerts
- Responding to all customer queries related to field services requests
- Interfacing with clients and field engineers
Responsibilities
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically via our ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Research solutions using available information resources.
- Advise users on appropriate action, sometimes education of the user is required.
- Follow standard service desk procedures.
- Log all service desk interactions and document issue resolution using the ticketing system.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software resources and parts if required.
- Identify and effectively prioritize situations requiring urgent attention.
- Track and route problems or requests and document resolutions thoroughly.
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
- Maintain superb communication with all end users and other members of the information technology department.
- Install and support user applications such as mail, VPN, user applications, corporate applications, etc.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience
- Active experience resolving 100+ tickets across tier 1-4 scenarios
- Remote image management
- Networking infrastructure
- Windows server admin
- Scripting skill sets in powershell, Linux
- Active Directory Management
- Hardware/software configuration/installation
- VOIP
Qualification:
BSCS/MSCS
BSC or MSC in Computer Engineer
BSC or MSC in IT
Comptia
MCSA, MCSE
CCNA, CCNP
Work in Shift (must be flexible to work in night and weekend shifts)
Contract length: 12 months
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: Rs30,000.00 – Rs35,000.00 per month
