Software Development Engineer – QA Tools

Know about the Role!

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Creating and maintaining documented test cases for Embedded IDEs and profilers
  • Developing C/C++ or Java applications
  • Creating python, shell or batch scripts for automated testing
  • Creating and maintaining test plans for products releases
  • Performing test execution on product releases
  • Taking up development and QA tasks while working in scrum team

This is What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for candidates with Bachelor or MS (preferred) degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering. Fresh graduates as well as those with experience in embedded development or QA are encouraged to apply. The basic required skillset is:

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working in C, C++ or Java
  • Understanding of Computer Architecture Design, familiarity with Assembly language, knowledge of Operating Systems concepts

We are awaiting applications from candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to learn quickly. You must also possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote teams and adhere to scheduled and team-agreed guidelines.

What Gives You Competitive Edge?

  • Understanding of: software development, QA processes, Real Time Operating Systems, and Embedded Linux
  • Experience of: using embedded debuggers and cross compilers; working in Agile model and open source; and embedded IDEs testing
  • Knowledge of shell scripting, python or any other scripting language
