After three successful sessions conducted at Women Degree College Multan & Women University Multan, this is our fourth session with Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) and other online various universities in Pakistan and we hope you take guidance and knowledge on the subject. Mentorship programs don't make anyone an expert however it introduces you to skills and concepts and guides them in their career. Attending constant mentoring sessions and keeping in touch with the mentors helps students to gain confidence and build a solid professional network. We have an upcoming mentorship session on 27th June 2022 under our “Skill Women Pakistan” initiative. We want maximum girls to avail this training session, hence request to mentor your students & alumni. So far we have mentored more than 900 students at two institutions via zoom and onsite. 1. Mentee should be able to get a deeper understanding of the freelancing business
   2. They should be able to make their own profile on freelancing websites and effectively market their skills.
   3. They should be able to understand the basics of developing a business strategy around freelancing services and managing their financials.

Bootcamp CureMD

CureMD has partnered with P@SHA and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) to run free boot camps to equip the youth of Pakistan with employable software development skills including Web Engineering, MERN Stack, and Software Quality Assurance. Engineering (EE, ME, CS, SE etc) and Science (Math, Physics, biology etc) majors graduated in or after 2017 are eligible to apply.

This is a full-time, 10-week program starting in June.

Training will be conducted by CureMD's technical team, who will help provide trainees with the skills that help them get hired immediately in top software houses. CureMD will also offer permanent positions to trainees who score B+ or better in their assessments.

The 8th China International College Students

“Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

going to be held in 2022

China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held for seven sessions since 2015, and has gradually grown to the world's largest competition for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship. The 8th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is going to be held in 2022 and Nanjing University sincerely invites excellent entrepreneurial students from your school to participate in the competition, gather innovative thinking, strengthen the sense of cooperation, and set an example for entrepreneurship.

All industries can participate. All entrants must be students who are currently enrolled as registered students or those who have graduated within the past 5 years. The application should be submitted by the leader of the participating team. Entrants must be under 35 years old (born after March 1, 1987). For teams that advance to the finals, the organizing committee will cover the air travel expenses (round-trip, economy class) for two members and other accommodation costs during the competition. For teams that are unable to participate the finals on site due to Covid-19, the committee can also support the online road show. For additional specific requirements of the competition, please see the attached invitation letter.

The prize for the international track is considerable this year. The organizing committee will assist the winners in finding investment and incubators which is an excellent opportunity and great platform to further open the Chinese market.

FCIT signs MoU with PEF

MoU has been signed between the Faculty of Computing & Information Technology (FCIT) and Professional Education Foundation (PEF)

An MoU has been signed between the Faculty of Computing & Information Technology (FCIT) and Professional Education Foundation (PEF).Prof. Dr. Saleem Mazhar, Pro Vice Chancellor University of the Punjab and Mr. Jawaid Faruqui, COO PEF signed this agreement in the presence of Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarwar, Dean FCIT and other executives from both organizations.The MoU will serve the purpose to offer scholarships to the students who belong to a relatively low income background. PEF will offer scholarships in terms of full tuition fee waiver to 50 students every year starting from Fall 2021.It is the first time that PEF has offered scholarships to the students of computing disciplines. The organization is already providing financial support to the students of medical and engineering programs.
Each selected student of FCIT will get a scholarship amount 60,000 PKR per year for a period of four years. 50 selected students from a batch will receive scholarship amounting approximately 12 million PKR for four years. Up till now PEF have become a source of smile and future success of more than 2000 students across different disciplines in Pakistan. This contribution by PEF to FCIT will enrich the chances of a bright future for a student struggling through the dark clouds of financial struggles.
