PUCON ’24

PUCON '24 took place at the old campus of FCIT, overseen by the esteemed Dean, Engrr. Dr. Shahzad Sarwer, from February 16th to 18th. This grand event featured seven IT competitions: Speed Programming, Web Hackathon, App Competition, Artificial Intelligence, Game Design, UX/UI, and Capture the Flag. Approximately 250 teams from various universities participated, totaling over 500 students. Alongside Punjab University, participating universities included FAST-NU, Superior University, University of Central Punjab, Comsats, Information Technology University, University of Management & Technology, Beaconhouse, and Air University Islamabad. Additionally, Sundar Stem School participated and showcased outstanding performance in the Speed Programming Competition.

The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP) has invited nominations for the subject program. The candidates who fulfils the criteria may apply directly through online system (https://e-apply.jp/e/ynu/)

Regarding Information on Infrastructure Management Program | Yokohama National University under JJWBGSP.

     JJWBGSP scholarship provides a monthly allowance (most probably JPY 170,000 – JPY 200,000) and round-trip air ticket to Japan & travel allowance. The scholarship also covers tuition fees, the entrance examination fee, the admission fee and the insurance. The scholarship benefits are explained on the World Bank web page.
