We work in the area of ML, Industrial Devices and Industrial IoT on the entire stack ranging from Devices & Connectivity to Platform Services and UI.

Know about Your Role:

You will be working as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). As SDET, you will have opportunity to work on all tiers of our platforms including UI, Platform Services and Edge Devices. Your job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Study the system design and perform feature testing, integration testing, regression testing.
  • Develop custom software applications and tools to test different tiers of the system including application development with our SDKs.
  • Identify and reproduce bugs in released software in a QA environment as well as communicate replication steps, resolutions and workarounds to the development teams.
  • Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to determine the test strategy including risk analysis and prioritization.
  • Review all requirements and create a test strategy for a project.
  • Create test plans to thoroughly cover scenarios for new feature work.
  • Communicate results of software testing efforts to the rest of the team through test reports and Jira.
  • Validate that the user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
  • Clearly report the status of assigned tasks and testing efforts to managers and business stakeholders.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Establish virtual environments to host service functionality and Injection of simulation data-sets as service input parameters.

This is What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent discipline of engineering
  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development or SDET
  • Experience/interest in system integration development and testing and writing custom tools to test multi-tier systems using C++/Python
  • Development experience in C++/Python programming languages.
  • Ability to comprehend multi-tier system architecture, and translate test requirement documents into appropriate test solutions
  • Understanding of testing processes and technologies along with solid knowledge of SQL and scripting (one or more of Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Bash/Shell, etc.)
  • Experience with: Defect Tracking tools, code repositories like JIRA, RestAPI testing and hands-on experience with any popular tools like POSTMAN or ReadyAPI
  • Debugging and problem-solving skills, analytical and critical thinking, and willingness to learn new technologies

What Gives You Competitive Edge?

  • Experience working with docker containers, kubernetes, Kubeflow
  • Understanding of machine learning pipelines or ML models
  • Experience in testing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment with Maven, Jenkins, Java or any other framework
  • Basic understanding of automation Testing Frameworks i.e. Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, BDD , Gherkins or similar technologies
