The job holder provides assistance, advice, and solutions for software problems (e.g. application malfunctions, understanding issues, etc), investigating problems, identifying their root causes, and suggesting solutions and/or pathways to them. Working as a bridge between Clients and Development team regarding requirement gathering, CAS Software’s troubleshooting, managing web-based project management and issue tracking Software, SMS related matters and creation etc..
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
We technical Software Support Department is for ensuring that systems will support their business and mission goals.
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
In our Department Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support
Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
Gather information and requirements of the clients, analyze them and send it to the software development department according to the clients demand.
Testing the software if found error and reports it to the development department for the correction.
Education: Bachelor’s in IT/CS/CE or BS/B.A. with DIT
Experience: 3-4 years experience in related fields.
Salary: 50k to 100k
