What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

As the Shopify Developer, THIS ROLE to assist in the deployment more than 15 Shopify stores within the coming 18 months.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Challenge the Status Quo, and drive a culture of innovation with an agile mindset.
  • Work and align with Area DBS and Marketing teams in BAT MEHSANA to understand the roadmap of services that are to be deployed
  • Focus on developing, integrating, and simplifying the region’s digital ecosystem (E-Com, CRM, API Layer, …)
  • Ensure data privacy / cybersecurity compliance in everything you develop
  • Document your work, and simplify handovers where it applies
  • Dig deeply into the architecture of Shopify, HubSpot, Make, and AWS
  • Leverage AWS services as much as possible

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL (please provide only criteria considered to be ‘must haves’)

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep technical know-how of Python or NodeJS
  • Deep technical know-how of REST APIs technologies (GraphQL would be a major plus)
  • Deep technical know-how of AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Step Functions, and other AWS services
  • Deep technical know-how of API orchestration and ETL
  • Deep acumen in Microservices architecture and development techniques
  • Deep acumen of Headless E-Commerce and CRM
