Software Engineer ETL required at FutureNow Technologies
A Software Engineer ETL is an IT specialist who designs data storage systems, works to fill them with data and supervises a process of loading big data into a data warehousing software. Designs develop, automates, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.
Required Skills:
- Experience with SQL including design and implementation of tables, constraints, indexes, stored procedures, views, and complex SQL statements
- Hands on with ETL methodologies, design and analysis
- Good working experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
- Ability to work well with team members along customer stakeholders
- Strong technical, analytical and communications skills
- Insurance Domain Expertise in US based large organization would be a plus
- Certification in SSIS or SSIR SQL Server would be a great plus
Responsibilities:
Create, update and maintain packages and scripts to integrate business data or perform ETL using Microsoft Integration Services and/or stored procedures
- Write scripts to create views, procedures, and functions in support of application and report development and testing
- Work directly with end users to gather requirements and understand database related requirements for Business Intelligence applications
- Work with development team members using agile principles to complete data integration project objectives
- Perform strong unit testing and produce production ready code
