The Division:
EASA Software originated as a development project in 2000 by employees in the Engineering Software group of a technology consulting company. The developers of EASA recognized that there was no other tool on the market that allowed companies to deploy complex models without conventional coding. Using their education and extensive experience in the Engineering field, EASA’s founders created a specialty solution (originally designed for engineering and scientific models) that transforms existing software workflows into custom, low-code web apps.
In 2022, EASA was acquired by Constellation Software Inc.’s Volaris Operating Group.

The Position:
We are looking to hire a Senior SQA Analyst with experience & expertise in software testing AND/OR Systems administration, to work closely with the EASA R&D team to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of releases.
This is a multifaceted role with an opportunity to learn new technologies. The hired individual will be involved in testing, providing 2nd line customer support, IT administration, and test automation (This will be learnt on the job when needed). So, the ideal candidate should have a background in System administration and network/machine configuration with some knowledge of scripting languages (Windows/Linux Shell).
The successful hire will be located and out of the Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad/Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team as an extension of the onshore team located in Australia. The hired individual should be able to provide at least 4-5 hours of overlap with the Australian Time Zone.

Job Qualifications/Skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of solid professional testing experience with enterprise-class, customer-facing business applications.
  • Knowledge/skills of the defect life cycle, defect management and reporting.
  • Good technical skills to learn/apply test automation when needed.
  • Background in IT/System administration and network/machine configuration with some knowledge of scripting languages (Windows/Linux Shell).
  • Knowledge/Experience with API testing with tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc. considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide 2nd line customer support.
  • Can perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn software and hardware technology quickly.
  • Ability to escalate issues to the relevant teams in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player.
